About Tina Edelstein

My journey into the world of flute began in kindergarden. I heard my friend playing a recorder and she let me experiment with changing the pitch by covering different tone holes while she blew air into the mouthpiece. It was a magical experience that sparked my lifelong passion for the flute.

I earned my Master's Degree in Performing Arts (Flute) at Music Academy Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Since moving to the USA I have actively performed with various of orchestras across central Florida.  A few of my most cherised performances are: the incredible Yo-Yo Ma and Andrea Bocelli  with Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Swan Lake with Space Coast Symphony Orchestra, exploring contemporary music with Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra and creating music with stroke survivors organized by Strokestra in collaboration with Royal Philharmonics musicians.

At the heart of everything I do is a genuine love for teaching students flute. Guiding learners, whether they are beginners exploring their first notes or advanced players refining their skills, is truly rewarding. My goal is not just to teach how to play the flute, but to instill a lifelong appreciation for music. With patience, encouragement, and tailored teaching methods, I strive to create a positive and inspiring learning environment where students feel supported in their musical journey. Watching their progress and witnessing their confidence grow is what makes teaching the flute such a fulfilling experience.
